I love to swim at the shallow end of the ocean
Away from being in the political limelight
The more I avoid fight for what is right
The more I drown in social unfairness
I stay were the water is shallow
To avoid confrontation
I write about topics that does not
Hurt anyone else but neutral topics
To stay off radar
I do fight behind the scene
Support someone’s political stand, I truly believe in
I never leave my boat of safety only when it’s in the shallow end
I fear when I get in to deep, I will be in a point of no return
I fear the rebel within me. The power I keep under control.
I substain my shallowness, I stay out of the matrix.
People will try to make you conform to what they feel is right
Where do you stand? Is it all right ? You don’t have to answer to anyone
but
yourself .
I really like to be a wallflower, that’s like someone’s secret
godmother fairy .
The shallow complexity

Wow amazing ❤️ Check mine
So much meaning behind this poem. Well said ❤️
The wallflower is insecurity for me. Half of me is that flower, the other half fights hard to be seen. Being seen makes one feel naked and alarmed. This is def speaking for me and to me. I get it completely. 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅. Let the inhibitions fly free.
Awesome!!! Loved it!!!💖💖💕
Nicely done.
I always try to make my posts upbeat, there are the odd ones that are a little sad, but I have so many of that sort that I just trash, I always try and put a smile on people's faces. Love your words
I feel the same most days… then, there are days I can’t keep quiet, causing ripples. Great poem.
Amazing writing… I like the lines within this piece❤️💯‼️
I too like the safety of the shallow end my friend. Nicely penned 😊
The shallow end feels safer, but still requires negotiating great social complexities. And often it's in the shallow end that the greatest abuses become known & stands taken.
