Shall I Try To Love Again

It hard to be confident again, when you lost your lover

Shall I Try To Love Again

As John stands, key in hand,

A lock upon his broken heart,

His eyes are filled with quiet sorrow,

A weight he carries, a silent burden.

He wonders, with a heart so torn,

“Do I unlock my broken heart to love again,

In 2025, will I find the strength,

To let go of the past, and be happy again ?”

The key feels heavy, but it’s near,

A symbol of hope or lingering fear.

Can he trust the turn, can he dare to try,

To love once more before time slips by?

Only he can answer, only he can see,

If the lock will open, if his heart will be free.

But for now, he stands, uncertain and still,

With a key in hand, waiting for the will.
