A free verse poem

Whispers intertwine like fumes,

Truth misshapen in shadows,

Eyes sparkle with a flawed light.

πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨

A web of deceit,

Threads turn with a silver tongue,

Reality curves.

πŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈ

The king of lies,

Each story a fragile move,

Trust broken like glass.

πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

Promises like murk,

Disappearing with dawn’s first blush,

Hope holds onto the wind.

🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️

Echoes of history,

Each fib a haunting apparition,

Memories buried.

πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»

In the mirror's ogle,

Reflections rotate and stagger,

Who looks back at me?

πŸͺžπŸͺžπŸͺžπŸͺžπŸͺž

A heart hidden,

Behind walls of fictional tales,

Longing for the truth.

🀲🀲🀲🀲🀲

Murmurs of the spirit,

Starving for a single word,

Honesty's embrace.

🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️🌬️

Yet the web tightens,

Caught in the threads of my fibs,

A road I can't abandon.

πŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•ΈοΈ

Beneath the outside,

A delicate heart beats softly,

Longing to be free.

⛓️‍πŸ’₯⛓️‍πŸ’₯⛓️‍πŸ’₯⛓️‍πŸ’₯⛓️‍πŸ’₯

So here I stay,

A painter of my own destiny,

Lost in my own story.

πŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“š

In quietude I dream,

Of a world where truth conquers,

And lies erased.

I liked the form, looking like a multi haiku , but not one. Some great analogies to stimulate our minds on this subject

I think every one of us goes through times like these. It is a fantastic poem which shows a side of a person that not all of us ever see.
