Shadows in Her Mind
Women's Insecurity in the Society
In the mirror’s gaze, she stands so still,
A world of doubts, against her will.
The whispers of a world unkind,
Plant seeds of fear in a troubled mind.
She’s told she’s strong, yet feels so small,
In a world where judgments often fall.
She hides her scars, her silent fears,
Drowning in a sea of unshed tears.
Society’s gaze, so harsh and cold,
Defines her worth, demands her mold.
She battles the lies that steal her grace,
Insecurity etched on her face.
She questions her steps, her voice, her role,
As the world chips away at her very soul.
But within her heart, a spark remains,
A quiet strength through all the pains.
For though the world may try to bind,
Her spirit is fierce, her will unconfined.
And one day soon, she’ll rise above,
Embracing herself with boundless love.
So let her stand, let her be free,
In a world where she can truly be.
For within her lies the power to defy,
The chains of doubt, the judgment’s lie.
