"Shadow of Doubts"
The END of unbreakable friendship

In the old days, when trust once bloomed,
Heart of two friends tightly groomed.
Laughter echoed through the empty room,
Eventually found their way with no one's clue.
The shadows crept where light should stay,
One heart grew cold, and began to stray.
Under smiles, a scheme got crafted,
A bond of gold was spread into pieces.
Promises shared, secrets known,
In the warmth of trust, both had grown.
Yet behind the mask of friendly cheer,
The dark motive of a person grows.
Coins exchanged where love should be,
One friend saw wealth, not loyalty.
The truth revealed, the pain did sting,
Friendship shattered into a sharp thing.
Whispers of lies, a hollow sound,
In betrayal's grip, trust unbound.
The heart became cold as stone,
Left to face the lies alone.
Memories fade, but the scars remain,
Shadow of doubt and the endless friendship ends.
Silent night and teary eyes heal the scars.
Shadow of doubt and the lesson learned.
