Psyco in the City

A call from the killer

By SoftSpokenStoriesPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Walking home in the alley's gloom, she answered a call in the darkened room.

"Hello?" she whispered, uncertain and shy. "Who is this?" came the cold reply.

"Just a friend," the voice did say, "Want to chat as you make your way?"

"I'm heading home," she spoke with care. "I know," he breathed, "I'm right there."

Heart pounding, shadows creep. "Look around," his voice did seep.

"I'm closer than you think, my dear." Sweat-drenched now, paralyzed in fear.
