Shadow and Light

In every heart, a shadow lies,

A quiet murmur, a veiled disguise.

It whispers doubt, it sows the fear,

A fleeting chill, a presence near.

Yet where there’s shadow, light must tread,

A flame that flickers, softly spread.

It rises strong when darkness falls,

Answering the night’s deep calls.

Shadow leans where light begins,

A balance held beneath our skins.

For every loss, there’s love to mend,

For every night, a dawn ascends.

The shadows teach, though cold their hand,
