I feel drawn to blue, as I feel pulled towards you. Your eyes-my favorite hue, hold things I never knew. Each chance I thought I blew, brings a day to start anew. Each breath I’ve breathed for you, it’s what I thought to do. I can’t catch my breath, for you my arms are stretched. My only fear is death, too far for you to catch. No longer in your arms, no longer safe from harm. My fear is my alarm, an embrace from you disarms. I need us both to breathe, I need us to believe. No melancholy-nothing to bereave, as long as we’re together there’s nothing we won’t achieve. Again I’m drawn to blue, as I am drawn to you. As sure as the dawn brings morning dew, as grand as miracles-though they’re far and few, my fate was sealed for me the day we said, “I do.”
