Oh, how I’d like to dream,

if I could close my eyes and turn my thinker off.

If I could drool and snore, contently sawing logs,

life would be a dream sweetheart.

****

Goodnight, goodnight again,

Here’s hoping - I fall asleep again!

****

Oh, if I could only dream,

hit REM and let Calgon - take me away.

If the voices in my head would softly fade,

life would be a dream sweetheart.

****

Every time I fall asleep -

something wakes me u-up.

If I could sleep - the whole night through,

Every- thing would be so f-fiiine!!

****

Oooooh, if I could finally sleep,

if I could close my eyes and snooze till my alarm.

Snuggle my covers, dream of paradise up above,

life would be a dream sweetheart!

Shhhhh- (boom)
