You're not boring, I left, and now I regret it,
I was young, dumb, stupid, and scared,
Saying it now, it all sounds pathetic,
You showed me your love and I never cared.
You're beautiful, amazing, your soul is magnetic,
The moon circles the earth to stay closer to you,
I search for something I knew and doubt that I'll get it,
Shooting star wishes I hope would come true.
Finding someone who gives half the feeling you gave me,
Finding someone who emulates how you exist,
Finding someone like you is all that can save me,
You're not boring, I love you, you're all that I miss.
I'm finally ready to give my affection,
If only I could mend this severed connection.

Aww a big regret 😢 love the honesty of this one.
Like a romantic confession. I hope she listens and her heart softens (smile). You write naturally, unhurriedly, and beautifully. :))
There's something so fallibly and honestly human here.
They say we miss what in right next to us...so true. Good luck to connections.
Oh, that hit right in the feels! Honest and beautifully regretful. The “moon circles the earth to stay closer to you” line? Chef’s kiss, cosmic-level love right there.
The raw honesty in this piece is striking. It beautifully captures the regret and longing that follow when love is lost too soon.
