Seven Days Makes a Week!
What happens in those seven days?
Saturday meeting day
It was psychic wellness day, I say
Sunday water ceremony
or travel and spend some money
Monday is another meeting day, okay?
Tuesday is work, a group day for me
Wednesday, I have a meeting you see
Thursday is zoom
We had lunch at Dairy Queen
With family we hadn’t seen
Friday I pick up the broom!
And it was John’s birthday
Every night is Friday night!
Every day is Saturday right?
Well, it is when you are retired!
It’s Saturday and I’m just tired!
Sunday is a break from weights, aye
Monday is laughter yoga day hey!
On Tuesday I pick up a few groceries too
Wednesday I talk with people I sponsor to
count that as my service, and talk to those who sponsor me
Thursday is a day I do some writing and Friday
Saturday and Sunday it is all for me to be
a better writer, every day and at the end of the week
I look at other writers and take a peek
at how they are all doing every day I seek
to do a better job of writing here on Vocal/Medium
with little to no tedium.

Why'd you grab a broom on John's birthday? To ask him to sweep? To hit him? To sweep him off his feet? Hahahahahahahahahhaha. Loved your poem!
