Kindness

“The world is filled with nice people,

if you can’t find one be one.”

We are all so busy

that we do not always realize

when we or even someone else

is “being nice.”

It is rare

that a person is deliberately nasty

as most people are ‘nice people’.

Every single one of us

has the power to be kind.

Sometimes we may need to be a beacon of kindness.

A smile at the right time.

Shaking an old friend’s hand.

Giving a loved one a hug.

All of these actions

remind everyone

of the ‘goodness in humanity’.

When we are going through difficult times,

it is not easy to remember

that the people around us do care.

But we must make the effort to remember this

and ‘triumph over the bad people’

by being a good person.

The world “IS” full of nice people.
