"An Ode to the Five Senses and the Wonders of the Natural World"
In the garden, I stand and see
A world of beauty around me
The vibrant hues of flowers bright
A feast for my sense of sight
I hear the chirping of the birds
The rustle of the leaves in herds
The gentle sway of the trees
A melody for my sense of hearing, at ease
The feel of the soft green grass
Beneath my feet as I slowly pass
The cool breeze that brushes by
A soothing touch for my sense of touch, nearby
I breathe in the fragrant air
The aroma of flowers everywhere
The sweetness of nature's scent
A delight for my sense of smell, present
Lastly, I taste the juicy fruit
Nature's gift, fresh and cute
The sweetness that fills my mouth
A treat for my sense of taste, south
With my senses all awake
A world of wonder, I partake
For nature's beauty, oh so grand
Is meant to be enjoyed, firsthand.
