Senseless
A Poem
By Atomic HistorianPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read
My eyes hear what my ears refuse to taste
As my tongue reaches out to touch a hidden place
My nose sees the memories that my eyes are blind to
As my eyes look in your direction to lie to you
When I say, I want nothing more
Than to spend the day with you
I regret it just as I’ve said it
And I know your heart can smell it
The fear of comfort when you’re near
Makes me quiver
