Hey
Whatever you think about me
It’s true
Because that is the version that’s real to you
No matter what I say
Will dissuade what you think of me
My actions may change what you’re thinking
But you’ll never see the things that happen when you’re blinking
A blissful existence
Filled with ignorance
Knowing that no matter how close someone gets to me
They will never know what goes on inside
The real me
The me that I keep from society
The me I keep from me
In order to fit in with an ideal
An idea
That won’t exist hundreds of years from now
Because their is no tradition
Other than the superstition that this is how things have always been
And thus
How they should be
Forever more
So on, and so on
Forever attempting to belong
