I baked the man I loved a pie. He said he wanted cake.

I bought him a gold watch and he bought me something fake.

I told him I loved him, but his feelings weren't the same.

He called me everything in the book except my name

I asked if we could work together maybe try

He looked in my face and said b##### just die?

I got up the nerve, dried my eyes, and looked at his face.

I showed him the door, got on my knees, and gave my heart to God in his place.
