She's in heaven now

You never graced me with your presence

But your existence was still a gift

I only knew of your for a bit

Four hours to be exact

But while I was scared of you

Or more what your father would do

I still loved you with all my heart

My heart grew knowing I was your Mama

And my heart stopped knowing you were gone

And seeing you in my hand

It nearly killed me

Your father has his issues

But he would have also loved you

With all of his heart

I can see it now

The nights holding you

Singing to you

Kissing you

We would have loved you

With all our hearts

Selene Merina Harper

You would have been our world

You would have been our glue

But God has you now

Our grandmas rocking you to sleep

Our angel baby
