a poem about epilepsy

Seizure

Colorful flashes of light at the periphery make my vision blur

Cold hard tile collides with my failing body as it shakes and stirs

Medical machines play a symphony of beeps and whirrs

Sterile scents of alcohol and linen blend inside my nose to confer

The metallic taste of blood on my bitten tongue, a reminder of the seizure

sad poetry
