Trigger Warnings: Emotional Trauma, Pedophilia Mention

Joanna appears in a child’s stroller like a fairy godmother. She is a lion with a mane, but she is most definitely not a boy, because boys are icky. So, she dawns bows and a pink baby bottle. Becomes a member of the family. Over the years, she is burned, stitched, cut, stitched again. She earns a permanent place as Queen of the Toys. She survives three hurricanes and becomes etched in the family folklore, told in stories around the dinner table.
