When she is forced to remain voiceless and silent

she is scared to talk

she doesnt want anyone to know

she has tried to make that call

write that email

post the story

but she is still a prisoner

to the words of evil

and the touch of the devil

she is in a perpetual state

of fear and a reality

she wished she could escape

she sheds tears

feels like a coward

because she knows she could

possibly help someone

someone who needs to know

that they are not alone

but maybe it is she

who needs to know she is not alone

she isnt ready for the world

to know

to judge

to question

there are some things

too difficut

too much

to divulge

to bear

to live with

but everyday she does

she pushes on

she survives a little more

in her silence

yet it has consumed her

almost completely

she is afraid she has reached her limit

that she is about to burst

that she is almost

about to cry for help

heartbreak
