A Dart at Dusk
Seconds ago, the sullen sun set on the two of us… my exuberant furry companion and me. A fresh breeze embraces us, delivering welcome relief from the day’s oppressive heat. His typical stumbling and staggering along — apace with a sloth — has turned into trip-trapping, high-stepping, almost skipping along.

Hmmm... It's not the usual 3 lined 5, 7, 5 haiku. Yet, it still has 17 syllables. Personally I wouldn't classify it as a haiku, but it makes sense as other haikus have been pushing the boundaries of removing syllables from one line to add them to another. Yet, adding another line entirely makes it feel like it's own sub-genre away from the traditional haiku. In all honesty, this might be what Vocal was trying to consider to be a quad-ku. Also, if You didn't make the video, add the proper credits to the YouTube video that You used as Your thumbnail. It always drives me crazy when people don't do that. Somebody put a lot of hard work into making that video.
