In the garden of time, I cultivate slow

A harvest of moments, where patience starts to grow,

The seeds of trust are planted, deep in the earth below

And with each passing season, they begin to show.

*****

The buds of hope swell forth, in the warmth of gentle rain

And though the storms of doubt may rage, and cause me pain,

I stand firm, like a tree that's rooted deep and strong

And wait for the sunshine, that will help me move along.

*****

In the stillness of the night, when stars shine bright and clear

I listen to the whispers, of a voice that's always near,

A voice that reminds me, to breathe, to let go, to be

A voice that teaches patience, in the midst of uncertainty.

*****

So I'll tend the garden, of my soul with care

And trust that with each season, patience will be there,

To guide me through the waiting, to comfort me in the night

And to help me find the beauty, in the slow and gentle light.
