He is small and curious

A little collection of brightly colored

Fallen things were in his hands last week

There was delight to have gotten

Green, red, yellow, and orange

From the grey world he found them in

Those were arms not long enough

To reach for them earlier in the year

There was delight when the pattering started

A dancing and ripple waves beneath him

Then there was squeals of joy

When glittering white fell down

There is peace and quiet

Expect for children running,

Throwing balls of white

And falling into softness

To make figures of hope and joy

About the Creator

Lisa Pulliam

I love making fun of my emotions, feelings, and thoughts in short form writing such as songs and illustrations. I would like to write longer and more explorative pieces for others to read.
