Seasons Change

Life goes on

As autumn leaves begin to fall,

The clocks will turn, the shadows call.

An hour gained, a moment more,

To watch the chill creep in once more.

The sun dips low, the nights grow long,

The air turns crisp, a whispered song.

The world transforms in shades of gray,

As winter’s chill prepares to stay.

Frost will lace the windowpanes,

And silence drops like gentle rains.

As shorter days invite the night,

We brace for winter's quiet flight.

Clouds gather close, the skies turn pale,

While evening comes on chilly trails.

The trees stand bare, their branches still,

As frosty air gives hearts a thrill.

Yet in this stillness, hope remains,

A promise whispered in the strains.

For even in the coldest days,

New life will bloom in hidden ways.

And as we gather near the fire,

We find a warmth that won't expire.

In winter's breath, a quiet peace,

A moment's pause, where worries cease.
