I await the return of flowers,
awakened by soothing, reassuring showers.
The showers I endure are hot,
in my head, I cannot
wait any longer for spring's sunny powers.

When I lived in New York, I felt the same way waiting for spring. Very nicely expressed in a limerick.
Paints a beautiful picture of the anticipation for the arrival of spring...👌👌
Just a little longer now... The cats and I are hanging in there too.
