Cold and Flu Season
Shared ladle, shared destiny
Shared waiting room cough
******** A note from an ER nurse ********
Why, during the most contagious time of the year, do we decide to share food at potlucks and family gatherings? I motion to move all of these lovely holidays to the summer.
Cover your cough, everyone. And wash your hands. A lot.

This is way too relatable. I spent a long night in an ER waiting room with my sister during our flu season when her asthma flared, shared coughs were definitely not comforting.
Exactly how I feel after coming home. You got it so well. One endless cough that feels like it just ripples through all of us. And the nurse is totally right...
SO true. I have a nasty flu at the moment, and have been trying to wear a mask and eat away from folks whenever family have been gathering...cheers to your thoughtfulness!
Because humans are dumb, lol.
