Seal Who Hijacked A Dingy
The seal that hijacked a dingy,
slips aboard all sly and cringy,
With slick grin and daring eye,
he steals the boat to swim and spy.
No captain here, no rules apply,
just splash and bark and salt-sea sky,
He takes the helm, the waves his throne,
this seal’s a pirate on his own.
Then the dingy sprang a leak, down it went,
the seal disappeared, no sign, no scent,
Seven weeks gone, the sea holds still,
The poet who wrote this now needs a pill.
