Scribbling For Posterity
…..

Our tales are our own
Seeds of thought on paper sown
With hopes they land on fertile ground
That needful readers may be found
Mayhap they can help another see
It’s okay to merely be
Many I’ve written with more to come
Nobody knows their final sum
For so long as a pen I can lift
So long as through memory I may sift
I shall write the tales of time and tide
Until I take that final ride
Then these scribblings be left behind
That some may fathom my seeking mind
