Don't be so blinded by the darkness
that you barely see the stars...
Their light can’t help you navigate
when barely seen from afar.
Love with all you have
while remaining healthily on guard,
for your soul can be destroyed
when that door is left ajar.
But when life sneaks up behind you
and you're left feeling charred...
REMEMBER that there is beauty
to discover within your scars.
The world wants to convince you
that you are merely subpar,
but REMEMBER,
you're the one
who ultimately sets that bar.
Your current circumstances
aren’t meant to trap you where you are.
Don't let them hold you back
when you're meant to go so far.
To discover who you're meant to be
is really not that hard.
Just push through the darkness
and reach for the stars...
because GUESS WHAT?
You’re still here.
And you’ve made it oh so far...
You must REMEMBER
to see your beauty, you
SCARRED SUPERSTAR.
