Saw Her in a random city!
Had to stop and give Knowledge

In town for a quick layover. Flight delayed and needed to get back home. More bad news! Flight cancelled, now I’m in a room for the night! Oh well, time to take in the city and grab a quick bite to eat!
I hear the language of the streets! Alive and ready, without skipping a beat! Things to explore and culture to embrace! The smell of the stable foods seemed to occupy my mental space!
So I paused and took a slow 360 to catch a feel for the atmosphere. As I completed my turn, there she was smiling (not sure if the smile was for me) at me as she noticed that I was taking “it” all in!
I extended my hand and said, “please tell me you’re single and I won’t have to leave this place ever again”. She laughed and said, “something like it, but I’m afraid if you don’t return to your destination, you’ll be missed”
I gave a sigh and said, “rightfully so, but just allow me to dream for a minute” she gave grace and paused from her nightly activity as she motioned her hair back over her left shoulder and told me to dream away, but to let her know what the dream is about!
I started to explain the details! “I have flowers and candy, but the day is not your birthday or Valentine’s, I have on a dark suit and tickets to a play!” She interrupted, “what play?” I replied, “Fences” as she chanced to a relaxed and calm position as her smile began to cater to me and the moment!
“Dinner reservations were close as we were running a bit behind schedule as I lost track of time looking into your lovely eyes” as I continued the story!
“A slight rain started to fall and as we exchanged the flowers and candy, one hand to the other, I extended my umbrella to protect us from the elements! We didn’t needed, I was trying to be smooth, but you went along with the flow” she said, “I’m liking this story, stranger!”
“Oh, forgive me and my lack of manners! My name is Jermaine and some friends call me, Jay. You can refer to me as the man taking in the city and bumping into a treasure chest in the middle of the busiest street”. As she gave a smile and got comfortable and closer, her natural scent allowed me to loose concentration and gave me comfort at the same time.
She gave me a nudge on the shoulder and said, “Tell me what happened in the rain? Did we kiss?” I replied, “No, I don’t kiss on the first date, but I wanted to!”
“The restaurant was nearby, as the sound of classical jazz played, which guided us to the location which was conveniently near the theater. As we walked in sequence, holding hands and energy flowing from each other, the night gave promise to a wonderful evening”
I paused, and she said, “well finish the story, please!” At that moment, I couldn’t tell her because as I realized that I may never see her again, my voice dropped and my mood sadden!
I said, “that’s OK, Miss! You are a flash in my life and seeing you was just a break I needed from reality to just take me away from all the chaos I have going on in my life back home!” As I continued, “Thank you for this short space and time to dream again! Whoever you’re connected to must be happy beyond his days!”
I bid her goodnight as we parted ways!
