Our love should’ve been in the Bible.
The day we met
The earth didn’t shatter
The ground didn’t break
Food tasted better
I spoke happier
Things were clearer
You feel right.
Backs touching at night
No need to hold on as we sleep
For we know the other is right there
For ever
And ever
And ever.
They say, “if he is not the word of God, then God never spoke”.
My God shouts.
It was you who saved me.
