Starstruck
We were born at the edge of infinity
Among the stars where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings
We were spinning like a comet you and me
At first we were intertwined
Then a touch from the hand of God
Caused our souls to form and our spirits embraced
We are twins from that place where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings
Spheres began to sing and we danced endlessly
Your perfection and beauty created some space
My fire and passion caused a star to implode
And although we had to part we still held out our arms longingly
Our home is in that space where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings
In a flash you were gone and I found myself being born on earth
I waited for years hoping that you would find stardust to follow me
Each night I looked up searching for a sign that you had come
I wished to return to our home where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings
And I found you and you found me
Here a long way from where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings
Once again just like the start we have been torn apart
By gravity and space and time
God has touched us once again
I know we will be together embracing like twins
So meet me there, where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings
Bring me flowers made of stardust and butterflies
We will be joined as one and rest in each others heart
At the edge of time and space never to be touched by anything again
Never to be diverted from our dance
There we will be forever where Saturn turns in her gossamer rings.
