Saskatoon Sonnet
My friend challenged me to write a sonnet and this was the result 🤓
I like this place called Saskatoon, SK
It has a lot of places to explore
Some of these places are not what you think
But they shall fill this sonnet anyway
The first I will describe to you is this:
A river walkway paved and safe and clean
Where riverside fires are not arson
The atmosphere is like to summer bliss
The next I will share with you here my friend:
the river there by which the walkway falls
The water, clear and steady and shallow
Is safe for recreation round the bend
And now, alas! My sonnet ends its tune
May it inspire dreams of Saskatoon
