Santa’s Journey On A Frosty Night

The first frost came on a cold, clear night,

The ground was covered in icy white.

The world was quiet, the air so still,

As Santa began his journey up the hill.

His sleigh was ready, the reindeer’s too,

Santa had much work to do.

He pulled the reins, and up they flew,

Over the fields where the frost still grew.

The houses below were dark and small,

But Santa knew he must visit them all.

Through the icy air and the frosty trees,

Santa moved with the greatest ease.

Each house he passed, each chimney near,

He left gifts with a laugh and cheer.

The snowflakes fell, the night was cold,

But Santa’s heart was warm and bold.

The frost on the ground, the chill in the air,

Made the night feel peaceful, beyond compare.

Santa worked fast, but he never rushed,

Delivering gifts, he did what he must.

Through the icy night, he flew with grace,

Bringing joy to every place.

When his work was finished, his heart was light,

Santa smiled, pleased with the night.

As he left, he waved to Rudolf’s bright light,

And the reindeer’s too, filled with delight.

Through the frost and the cold snow,

Christmas was going to be just right.

Up again he went in the frosty sky,

A smile on his face as he waved goodbye.

He rang his bells with a merry cheer,

“Merry Christmas to all!” see you all Next year
