Sapius dreams writhing
Complex and heavily tithed
Of fierce will and feat
No foe could truly meet
Inhabiting unconditional love
And frankness not above
Mother who gifted wings
Taught us, rise up and sing
Gave access to a key
Of vision and tenacity
Breathed life into hearts
Told us, take life in parts
Of infinite song and soul
You will ride out as a foal
Mane flying to the wind
From ether will you tend
We will know your playful clatter
No longer confined to matter
Released in expansion to full size
An honor to witness your rise
In the forest, aqueous and fire
Shall we transcend the pyre
To earth and air we return
Life a treasure to covet and learn
About the Creator
S. Rae
Using pen as lantern, with curious gaze do I observe and witness. Humor blended with love, paramount for survival of this heart. Writings to share and release, to birth and make peace. Through vulnerability to the explicit, do I dare.
