SAIL ME INTO THE FIRE

poem by c . c . hsu

By c.c.hsuPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

If sun cracked over the sky (magnified), the color spilt

like milk over landscape (the edges never-ending)

whisked across the hemisphere its yolk

molten over the mountains

dripping glorious hallelujah

let it speak - the blazing

blinking slowly melting orange

the spreading pink

stay here in the us-two of this moment

and witness the solvent battery

of flux against horizon: liquified, detonated what follows

next on after the smashing of the light?

do not be afraid to witness detonation

to witness flux: the light carries rivers

shocking atmospheric cloud, it leaches rivulets and tributaries of

boiling rose. the sun brews every evening, see

it is percolating.

Sail me into the fire.

Sail me into that atmospheric cloud.
