She was calm. She looked at the dark water full of stars, galaxies and all the ingredients that made up the universe, down infinite depth. The water was still, only her breath created subtle waves in front of her. The ocean of space was endless in every direction, everywhere she looked there was the horizon. No end, no beginning. Just the moment. It was dark yet she could see everything there ever was. She reached out and took a handful of tears on her palm and looked dreamingly at it, a few stars had slipped in and sparkled like diamonds, even though they were smaller than sand grains. It made her even more serene, just watching the stars dancing effortlessly from the momentum. How did something so crushing, burning and excruciating create this mesmerizing beauty? She didn't feel lonely, for she had her constant companions with her, above and under. She gently poured the liquid back to the ocean until there remained only one star which emitted delicate lilac light. Once her hands had dried, the celestial body started to grow. It took a while to escape it's tiny size and struggled to maintain a steady maturation, like it had an internal fight whether to bloom or stay little. Yet it didn't have a choice and finally grew the size of her heart. There she was with her purple star in her hands, standing knee deep in an eternal body of water, wondering why she couldn't always feel this peaceful. Softly, drops of water started to fall up like rain, carrying with them parts of the universe, some a thousand stars, others a pair of galaxies, slowly taking place with their upper siblings. Never had she seen something so divine. She felt safe amongst the rising teardrops, hugging her star close to her and looking hypnotized at the ethereal scene around her. There was no up and down, left or right, only pure joy.
