I'm feeling sad today.
Feeling lost in life's fray.
Sorrow sets in on my chest.
As I sit here and write at my desk.
Wipe the tears,
Banish your fears.
You need faith,
to fight this demon wraith.
Please be gone from me,
I need peace so I can see.
But I can't, my eyes are dark,
the demon has left its ugly mark.
Moon above me shining bright,
Why can't I do anything right?

To anyone feeling melancholy on this Saturday morning. Fight on!
Much love.

I felt your sadness and being stuck. I hope you feel better and shakes that sadness and negative thinking off. Meditation cleansing might help sending hugs 🤗
I felt sad nearly all of April and most of May, but there are good reasons for the sadness. Now that June is arriving, I'm hoping to make my way past sad, and perhaps will strive for joyful. Hope you find your way through the sad maze, too. Loved the poem, and hope the act of writing in and of itself helped.
It usually feels netter when you let it all out. Hope this helped
Virtual hugs!!! Melancholy and beautiful!!!💕❤️❤️
That was so poignant and I'm so sorry you're feeling this way 🥺 Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
Emily this is beautiful. 💫 hang in there.
Sending you big hugs, sweet friend!! You beautifully penned what too many of us feel.
Seems like we are all there with you… sometimes days just start that way. Hope you get a great sleep tonight and feel revived tomorrow…. 🤍 If not, keep the poetry coming 😉🌟
