Sad eyes
In the deep sea of emotion tears down the cushion

Sad Eyes by George’s Girl
In twilight’s glow, where shadows creep,
There lies a story, dark and deep,
A gaze that wanders, lost in thought,
In pools of sorrow, battles fought.
They glisten softly, like the rain,
Each tear a whisper of silent pain,
Reflections of a heart laid bare,
A landscape draped in deep despair.
These sad eyes speak without a word,
A melody of grief unheard,
In every flicker, a tale resides,
Of broken dreams and secret tides.
Yet in their depths, a flicker stays,
A hint of hope in veiled grey rays,
For even sadness, fierce and true,
Can find the dawn with skies anew.
So let us not just see the night,
But seek the flicker, catch the light,
In sad eyes, beauty finds its guise,
A life painted with so many goodbyes.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
