Inside my heart a shattered dream
no silk escape no golden seam
the mirror cracked the glass ran wild
I stitched my silence like a child
The world moved on with perfect lips
I tasted blood from bitten slips
each word I spoke came back in knives
I learned to flinch and call it life
A room of noise I cannot hear
a laugh too bright a touch too near
they called it love they made it stale
then left me here with what I’m not
The rose they praised I dared to crush
the truth I held they made me hush
I broke the rules they made of sand
and now I bleed from my own hand
Shattered world and shattered me
a ghost outside and wreck beneath
no mercy born of pleading eyes
no comfort left no pretty lies
So let them toast their perfect frame
I carry fire they could not name
my broken self still stands, still breathes
and every nightmare’s mine to keep
