Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit!
Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge day 21

Run rabbit, run rabbit, run, run, run.
Can’t you see the farmer’s got a great big gun?
Run rabbit, run rabbit, run, run, run,
Fast as you can, or your day will be done.
Dodge bunny, dodge bunny, left then right
Get back to your burrow, and you’ll be alright
Dodge bunny, dodge bunny, left then right,
Keep running, bunny, or you’ll be his dinner tonight.
Breathe, rabbit, breathe rabbit now you are alright
Back inside your burrow and safely out of sight
Breathe, rabbit, breathe rabbit, that was quite a fright
You will sleep well tonight!
[One for the rabbit !!!]
Till next time,
Calvin.

Good
Delightful tale with rhythm and rhyme & a good end for the rabbit.
Awe so lovely 🍀🌻🍀
I have to be careful when I read these rabbit takes. Rabbits are very special and dear to me. My very own heart merged with that of my Bunny. Thought of being prey to heartless humans to the point of running for their life are intolerable. There’s another entry also with a warning that I saw. 😥
For some reason I read it in my mind as a children's rhyme, and it brought back so much memories. Great take!
Excellent takeon the original rhyme
