Ruby’s World
A heavenly birthday tribute to my mother

Reggae music, Diet Pepsi, sunflower seeds and a good book to read.
That summed up everything Ruby Lee Spencer would need.
A soul of reggae. Bob Marley was her spirit animal and love language.
Traveling was her heaven on earth. Living high above language.
Just to be content with her crazy personality.
A hard hitting attitude too much for the basic of reality.
A true soldier. A veteran of the military and let me tell you.
Disobeying her came with an outcome that was truly scary.
Ruby was huge hearted. With a spirit of which was beautifully loud.
Expressed with affection and dignity that still makes me proud.
She brought me some great times and yes they came with bad.
A lesson came with all of it so I’ll always be glad for the impact on my life she had.
The day she passed away I was living in a newer world.
No matter what it could never compare to Rubys World.
Happy heavenly birthday to my mother Ruby Lee Spencer.
