Roses Are Red They Say

Easier Goodbye

Roses are red they say,

But not on a snowy winter day.

The sun is bright it seems

But not when the clouds cover the sun's beams.

The good things about life's nature we look forward to are hypocritical

Til maybe one day we will be blessed with a miracle.

When it's time it's time; for the image we perceive to obscure.

We hope for people to stay faithful; unfortunately they demure.

The trees are so beautiful on a hot summer evening

Until the leaves wither away and start leaving.

Violets are blue in the garden,

Til the leaves grow old and begin to harden.

Everything has its dark side

A side everyone wishes nature could hide.

Not only in nature but people as well

The closest ones to you depart without the ability to say farewell.

A life lived long and accomplished independently

A goodbye that they take all so gallantly.

View nature as not a comparison to Jekyll and Hyde,

But as a showing to live life successfully for an easier goodbye.

I focus on writing pieces that help those when they may not be able to reach the surface on their own when drowning in this thing called life. It's easier said than done to tell yourself it'll be okay; so, allow my writing to speak to you.
