Rose Swan

Wisdom undone

Can I let go

without your spirit,

can I move on

knowing you'll stay,

will I go on

missing your sunlight,

if once I fly

can I come back,

tell you where clouds roam in my heart

and daffodils sway in the wind,

where magic finds a way to shine,

where love still conquers every castle,

sand cloak

and angels,

still awake?

***

Enter this sunrise,

bridge and gate,

I know not where the flowers walk,

I can tell by this fragrance

hearts kept believing

where my steps touch sunrise

violets bloom,

no matter if it's been one breath,

seconds

or lifetimes past,

not gone

and not forgotten,

I will believe in us.

***

I love you

at the dawn,

when every rose swan lingers,

a wisdom path undone

grief melted

with each angel,

it rains with petals

rainbow hope

this time

it will be

a forever song.

***
