I enjoy these serendipitous moments of mutual discovery
We’re building layer on top of layer of adoration and respect,
Fortified by a desire to see the other grow.
It’s exciting to see this colossal structure rise to the heavens
And we’ll sit on top of it as gods looking down on the beautiful world below.
Emptying bottles of rose spilled about the terrace with laughter,
And for a moment we’ll pause,
Looking into each others eyes feeling great emotion of that which does
Not need to be said, but was always understood
Because we built this life together
