The Goddess arises
With the morning light
Looking for lovers
To bless
Looking for romances
To inspire
Leaving behind
Her petals
To scent the air
And to consecrate
Marriage’s embrace
Looking for couples
Celebrating anniversaries
To remind them of all
The love they have
Searching for those
Who have had a lifetime
Together to lead them
On to the next life
United in their love
for each other
With kindness
And gentleness
