Rolled Over

Verse 1
Woke up in the morning, the sun was shining bright,
Dreamin’ of a cowboy, holdin’ me tight.
I stirred from my slumber, reached out for a hug,
But I rolled right off the edge, landed with a thud!
Chorus
I just rolled over for a cuddle, thought I had my man,
But forgot I’m single, now I’m flat on my land.
My pillow’s my partner, but he don’t take the bait,
Now I’m sittin’ on the floor, wonderin’ ‘bout my fate.
Verse 2
Grabbed my coffee, rubbed my eyes, and laughed out loud,
Told my dog, “Hey buddy, guess I'm not so proud.”
He just wagged his tail like he understood my plight,
Guess I’ll need a better plan for my cuddles tonight.
Chorus
I just rolled over for a cuddle, thought I had my man,
But forgot I’m single, now I’m flat on my land.
My pillow’s my partner, but he don’t take the bait,
Now I’m sittin’ on the floor, wonderin’ ‘bout my fate.
Bridge
Should I put an ad in the paper, sayin’, “Cuddles needed here!”
Or find me a good ol’ boy who loves to bring the cheer.
I’ll ask him nice to stay, no more rollin’ solo,
‘Cause this heart needs a cover for those chilly tomorrows.
Chorus
I just rolled over for a cuddle, thought I had my man,
But forgot I’m single, now I’m flat on my land.
My pillow’s my partner, but he don’t take the bait,
Now I’m sittin’ on the floor, wonderin’ ‘bout my fate.
Outro
So here’s to the singles, keepin’ it light and fun,
When you roll for a cuddle, make sure there's someone.
Or you might end up laughin’ on the floor of your room,
With a pillow for your partner, and a heart full of room!
