I look up to the stars

Bright beams illuminate the dark

The air is thick with no stars

How I wish I could see the moon

Fire weeps

My home soothes its sorrow

Ashes instead of tears

My home now keeps it’s flames company

How I wish I could go home

I’m on the move again

Mother whisper’s sweet lies

Of a false dream

Of returning home

Of feeling alive

How I wish lies were true

It’s too cramped here

Full of hard glares

They wish for us to leave

Yet I have no home left

“The border is where you stay” they say

How I wish it to be safe

All I wish for is to stay alive another day

All I wish for is for mother to only tell the truth

All I wish for is to have my old space

All I wish for is to stargaze with father for one last time

All I wish for is that Rohingya stay safe
