Ripples

A Poem

By Kale SinclairPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read
Top Story - July 2024

We are all just ancient cosmic vessels of organic

energy and memories. In love with violence, sex,

heartbreak and constantly creating enemies.

We are all conscious, sedimentary stones

woven together by flesh and bone,

destined to make ripples.

We are born desperate children,

desperately in constant need to suckle

contaminated milk from Mother Nature’s

sacred nipples. We are addicted to siphoning

radiation from the immortal breast of our

archaic universe.

Animals and kingdoms.

Extroverts and introverts.

We’re too old to know the past

and too young to see the future.

We’re crippled intergalactic gladiators,

who fancy dying by excessive sugar

and wasting away precious seconds

in front of personal computers.

Every single word of this poem is true. It tells things about life that nobody wants to accept. It's brilliant!

Kale Bova's poem "Ripples" eloquently captures the dualities of human existence, juxtaposing love and violence to highlight our complex nature. Sir this has me reflect to The Principle of Polarity.

Young cosmic vessels, woven together by flesh and bone, are consumed by violence and sex. They are desperate children, addicted to siphoning radiation from the ancient universe. They are both extroverts and introverts, too old to know the past and too young to see the future. Your poem is very inspiring and educative. I enjoyed reading it.
