We're told we're free but I don't buy it
Raise your voice, it's time to riot!
Like those before us, we must use our voices
For our bodies, our autonomy, our choices
It's time to end this misogynistic tyranny
You have no right to legislate my body!
You have taken away our consent, essentially
Yet say not to worry because we're still free
How can I believe that when our protest is treated like background noise
And we're under control of the "good ol' boys"
Using arcane beliefs to define marriage, man, and woman
We've been sent back to the darkness and oppression
But we will recover, regroup, and rise
We WILL change the world before your biased eyes
With blood, sweat, passion, and pain
Our voices call out once again
It is the cry of those who will be silent no more
Remember, it was your choice to start a war
